Language Arts: We will decode all word families. We will identify and use sight words did and make. We will plan, develop , revise, edit drafts. I will spell CVC words. I will blend onset and rimes. I will recognize that words are created when letters are changed, added or deleted. I will recognize did and make sight words.
Word Wall Words: 6th Six Weeks
Week 1: Review
Week 2: there, by

Week 4: because, of
Week 5: did, make
Math: We will compose and decompose numbers up to 10. I will be able to show different ways to make 6-10 by composing and decomposing.
Science and Social Studies: We will observe and describe physical properties of water. I will describe properties of water. We will identify examples of technology. I will describe how life would be different without technology.
May 15th – 18th Field Week during enrichment, tennis shoes need to be worn everyday
Friday, May 19th – Water Day, parents invited to attend all day
Monday, May 22nd – Daulton Talent Show, Danny Jones Middle School
Monday, May 29th – Memorial Day, no school
Tuesday, May 30th “Kindergarten Celebration” at 8:30-9:00 am in the cafeteria followed by a short reception in the classroom. More information will come later.
Thursday, June 1st – Last Day of School!
