This week we will conclude our Farm animal study with a “Barnyard Fair” on Friday, March 31st. The children will rotate through all the classrooms and have a different lesson in each class. Some of the festivities will include shucking corn, making bread and even milking a cow! The cow and milk are not real but don’t tell the children!
Your children may dress in “farm clothes” for the occasion. Please send shoes appropriate for PE as all children go to the gym on Friday.
We need your help to make the Barnyard Fair a success. Each student will need to bring 1 fresh ear of corn, in the husk on Friday, March 31st. To ensure the corn is fresh for shucking please do not send it in until Thursday morning (March 30th) at the earliest.
